This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturing company based in Bristol. They have expanded their accounts team and as a result are looking to recruit an assistant accountant to be responsible for:
? Overseeing a team of 3 accounts assistants
? Managing the sales*purchase ledger closure at month end
? Implementing new procedures to streamline the department
? VAT returns
? Weekly cash-book and bank reconciliations
? Overseeing the payroll function
? Assisting with month end accounting
To secure this role you will need at least 4 years strong transactional accounting experience combined with the ability to implement changes and manage the month end processes.
